HOURS OF OPERATION
Although I’m typically at my desk Monday through Friday, my hours do vary greatly, with much of my design work happening at night. Please note, in an effort to maintain a proper work/life balance, I try not to work on weekends and holidays.
Payments are accepted through Paypal only. For Custom Designs, a non-refundable deposit of $150 is required to be placed on my design queue.
Once I am ready to begin work on your design, you will be sent a remaining balance invoice, which must be paid in full before the design process can begin.
Due to quick turnarounds, Rush + orders require the full payment upfront.
REVISIONS + PROOFS
After you receive the initial mock-up, I will provide up to three reasonable revisions during the design process. Any revisions beyond the three may require additional fees.
Once your design is installed, any changes you request that are not a result of an error on my part are subject to a fee (beginning at $25.)
IMAGES + PERMISSIONS
Macarons & Mimosas is not liable for any photos or design elements provided by clients. Please be sure to have permission before submitting any elements or photography to use in your design.
If you would like to use an image from a stock image site, please purchase the file and send it to me when we begin the design process.
All correspondence between you and Macarons & Mimosas is totally confidential and may not be shared or forwarded to others without my expressed written consent.
Additionally, I will need access to your Blogger or WordPress login info during the design process. I will not share or sell your information under any circumstances. You may want to create a temporary password, until the design process is complete.
REFUNDS + CANCELLATIONS
Due to the nature of design work, refunds will not be issued under any circumstances, especially if the design process has begun. Should you choose to terminate a project for any reason, you will have a design credit in the amount of any invoices you paid for one calendar year.
All communication is done via email or Skype Chat Message so I have a record of your design preferences at my finger tips at all times. I’m always happy to answer any and all questions you have via email. Please note, responses may be delayed from time to time, due to the volume of inquiries and emails I receive on a daily basis.
When placing an order, you will be given a spot on my design queue for a certain month. This determines when your design will be started, not when it will be completed. Once you approve your initial inspiration board, we will discuss timeline goals to keep the project on track. Please note, I work as quickly as possible to complete all designs but the process is fluid and delays may happen, especially if multiple revisions are involved. Keep in mind…a unique, well thought out design takes time. Some designs are complete in a matter of weeks, others take several months. Your patience during the creative process is appreciated.
SIDEBAR + PAGE CONENT
My role in the process is to design the main template of your blog or website. You are responsible for adding the actual page copy, images and sidebar content unless we have agreed otherwise. If you would like for me to design graphics for the content of your pages, please contact me for a quote.
DESIGN CREDIT, UPDATES + FILES
A link to Macarons & Mimosas will be placed at the bottom of the site to credit me, as the designer of your template. This logo/link must remain as long as you have any elements designed by me applied.
Once your design is installed, your files are deleted unless you choose to have them stored ($15 fee), making them available for future tweaks and updates.
For $25, you may purchase a flattened .png on your web logo to use as you wish with no design credit required.
All designs are protected under copyright and are property of Macarons & Mimosas. Please note, this includes site coding.
